交换艺术是维基上的画师和作者们在圣诞节/节日期间互换超棒的礼物的一次机会。参加者们标出他们可以给出哪几种礼物，例如插画、故事、读物、或者诗歌，以及他们想要收到哪几种礼物。诸如“和我的作品有关”的宽泛要求或者诸如“关于蜡苹果和SCP-106的科幻故事”的特殊要求都可以提出。
然后大家会通过秘密圣诞老人的方式（for Secret Santa-style）指定某个人来写东西。接着在圣诞节前轮流互换他们自己的礼物。数天之后，组织者会揭晓这些礼物的作者是谁。
交换艺术棒在哪？
首先，社区的所有成员，不管是新人还是老人，大家聚在一起然后互相给予超棒的礼物，这件事不论是形式上和内容上都很酷。其次，大家都会全力以赴；我们已经有了氛围音乐专辑，羽翼丰满的RPG图画故事书，以及电子游戏，都是出于某个用户的节日愿望所作。第三，大家写的东西都会被放在站里，给网站以超棒的内涵和丰富的超棒作品。
