大红斑，木星
特殊收容措施：介于SCP-2399所处位置及其本身特性，目前尚无法对其进行收容。潜伏在各大天文台的基金会特工应回收所有关于SCP-2399的图片与摄影。目前散布的虚假信息可完全对公众掩饰SCP-2399的存在。
环绕木星的基金会卫星现正监视SCP-2399的自我修复工作，同时实施阻碍行动将其完成度限制在75%以下。此外，在木星高轨上设置有多个电磁干扰卫星（屏蔽阵列）。该阵列拦截到的所有通讯信息都应被解析并保存。
如若SCP-2399修复完成度超过75%或有信息突破屏蔽，应认为其已完成修复，基金会相关人员应实施LEGIONNAIRE-5协议（参见附录2399-L5）
描述：SCP-2399是一组位于木星低层大气的巨型复杂机械结构。SCP-2399在1963年被发现，从那时起项目一直在使用先进的反物质武器进行破坏活动，并摧毁大气[数据删除]导致了巨型红色漩涡的出现，即木星大红斑。

SCP-2399上有部分破损，可能是由于在到达目前位置前与木卫一相撞导致的。观察显示SCP-2399释放出大量八爪型无人机对其所受损伤进行修复。部分无人机环绕在SCP-2399周围，其他无人机则在附近的木星卫星上巡航，或深入木星大气寻找SCP-2399掉落的碎片。计算机模型显示SCP-2399已修复59%，并以每年0.78%的速率持续增长。该速率在二十世纪七十年代只有0.12%。
除了表面损伤，SCP-2399还具有以下特性：具有无限能量供应，电磁护盾，物质分解武器，自我修复的功能，以及追踪锁定系统（参见附录2399-2b）。介于SCP-2399的制造者与人类之间有巨大的科技水平差异，目前没有任何手段可以摧毁SCP-2399。理论上极强的电磁脉冲可以对SCP-2399造成破坏，但目前该技术尚不存在。

从1971年起，SCP-2399持续接收着一条从三角座星系发来的不间断信息流，三角座星系距地球约三百万光年。SCP-2399到达太阳系以及实施该通讯的技术目前尚不明。1971年至1985年间，SCP-2399持续收到一段信息，经解析翻译后内容为命令其修复进入太阳系时受到的损伤。随后，基金会建立屏蔽阵列以拦截此类信息。阵列完成后信号流中断了一段时期，直到1996年，从信号源发来了另一道不同的命令。屏蔽阵列目前正在阻止SCP-2399收到该指令。（参见附录2399-通讯记录）

那么，关于SCP-2399。
你可曾坐下来好好想过，当你身后的街道发生了车祸，或者你才离开的城市被炸弹袭击，你是有多么幸运才能活下来？多少的机缘巧合才能你存活至今？晚几秒或者早几秒，弯腰捡个东西，都能导致两辆巴士相撞。这样的事情无时无刻不在发生。但那就是我们出现的原因。我们保护普通人，因为他们都不知道要如何在未知中保护自己。
我们不能关照到方方面面。有些东西我们可以控制住，可以把那些能毁灭我们的威胁限制起来，但有更多的我们毫无对策。有的太过巨大，有的太过迅速，有的能力无边，这些东西眨眼间就能毁灭人类。它们之所以还没这么做，只是我们运气好。但2399和它们不一样。
关于SCP-2399的动机，起源，和它的能力我们所知甚少。我们不知道它如何能进行那么远距离的通讯，不知道是谁建造了它（如果它真的是被建造出来的）然后送到我们这里。我们不知道SCP-2399完全修复以后会发生什么，不知道如果屏蔽阵列出现漏洞，让它接收到信息后会发生什么。我们不知道，所以我们要做最坏的打算。就目前来看，SCP-2399一旦到达地球就能瞬间毁灭我们。
