加入美国安保收容倡议会那天，Charles Orson Gears 21岁。那是1875年。

Charles的领带熨烫过，西装上没有丝毫皱褶，已经开始变薄的头发也梳得齐整。看着他，没人会觉得他过去六小时是在讯问室里度过的。错了。

一个男人进入房间。他没有佩戴名牌——讯问者们都没戴；这位是新到的，他也一样。无名男子坐下时，露出了一个冷淡的笑容。

“记住这一刻，”他的父亲说道，“在脑海中刻画它，这一刻的感觉。那份荣耀。这是我们不破之神的完整。这是世界，世界可以成为的样子。世界应该成为的样子。”他父亲的手坚定地落在他的肩膀上。这座钟很美丽。“记住这个。记住是谁造就了你。”
