描述：SCP-2398是一根纯木制棒球棒，长约110厘米，以白蜡木制成，握柄缠有胶带。SCP-2398上没有特殊的标志，只有在握柄上刻有“K.O.”字样。
SCP-2398在未使用时不表现出异常性质；然而若以超出20米/秒的速度挥舞之，在SCP-2398挥舞时所接触到的任何活体生物都会发生剧烈爆炸。其机制当前未知。
发现：SCP-2398是由基金会在多伦多市警方内的潜伏人员发现，当时多伦多市棒球队蓝鸟队队员Carl Thomas与一群青年男女发生了一次争斗。一名男性看到Thomas先生在离开附近夜总会后走向自己的车旁，遂试图抢劫他而发动袭击，其他三名男性和两名女性同伙很快靠近。Mr.Thomas从车后座上拿出SCP-2398，对着其中一名女性挥舞，令她爆体身亡。袭击者快速逃散，一名路人报警。

测试结果：在安装挥舞机器臂时，机器臂提前挥动，击中了Towns博士的手臂，令他发生剧烈爆炸。挥舞中的机器臂被毁。爆炸令SCP-2398飞过测试间击中测试用猪，再次引发剧烈爆炸。此次爆炸击飞了SCP-2398，令其击中了此前测试中担任操作员的两名D级人员，使其剧烈爆炸。测试间在四次爆炸后被毁。SCP-2398未受影响，而后被放回收容中。
